πŸ“˜ Seller Guide

How to write a listing that sells.

1. Pick the right category

Listings in the wrong category get filtered out by buyers. If you're selling a Shopify theme, it goes under Templates β€” not "Other".

2. Write a specific title

Bad: "Premium domain for sale"
Good: "TechAffinity.com β€” 15-yr-old aged .com, brandable for SaaS startups"

Specifics drive search ranking and clicks.

3. Lead with proof

Buyers want evidence:

4. Pricing

5. Cover image

Use a clean 16:9 or square image, JPG/PNG/WEBP, under 25MB. Stock photos work; screenshots are better; product mockups best.

6. Tags

Comma-separated keywords help search. Use 5-10 specific tags (not "good, cheap, nice").

7. Bumping

Bump from your dashboard once every 24 hours β€” keeps you near the top of category pages.

8. Premium upgrade

For ~$X (see Fees), your listing gets:

9. Closing the deal

  1. Reply to messages within hours, not days.
  2. Be transparent about caveats.
  3. Use escrow for transactions over $500.
  4. After payment, transfer the asset, mark the listing "Sold", and ask the buyer to leave a review.

10. Reviews matter

The single biggest predictor of future sales. Always deliver well, always ask for a review.
